St James the Great Church is a Grade 1 listed building. The Chancel dates back to the 11th Century and the nave and Aisles were added in the 12th and 13th Century. The spire is the tallest in Buckinghamshire and on a clear day you can see it as far as the Dunstable Downs, the Warwickshire borders and even, with the aid of binoculars, from Worcestershire!
