Carers’ Group
Hanslope Carers’ Support Group
The church of St James the Great in Hanslope has joined with the Hanslope Surgery Patient Participation Group [PPG] to have a monthly ‘drop in’ coffee morning for local carers. The next meeting will be on ….
4th Wednesday of the Month 10.30 -12.30pm in the church
Please come along and enjoy a chat with other local carers and someone from CarersMK, who are supporting this initiative too. Who knows, you may get a little respite, or help, or just enjoy a break and a chat with people who can identify with some of your issues. The cake is good too!
Am I a carer? Carer is a broad term, we often think of it as being someone who looks after a sick relative at home. Equally, however, you may be offering care and support to a family member who lives a distance away, or be primarily responsible for an adult son or daughter with particular needs. Also you may have a relative in a residential home or a younger child with some form of special need. Whichever category you fall in to you will find a warm welcome.
